FILM

WORKSHOP

FOR CHILDREN & STUDENTS

Welcome to The Film Workshop for children & students !

(Note: all students can consult me outside of class hours through my e-mail: tallercinematografico68@gmail.com)

- In the classes videos will be projected about each activity to be done

- I will always be connected in all classes.

- The classes will last approximately 1 hour and will be once a week

- I present an initial project of 8 classes (2 months), but it can be extended if necessary.

- Students should have a blue or green background behind them when they show their image through the webcam (it can be a blue or green fabric, it does not need to be a professional chroma background). They should not wear blue or green shirts.

- From MovieScreenPro it would be ideal to record all classes on video. Then I would ask them to please send me the videos of each class in order to have the most optimal image file and then edit the works.

- Classes can be distributed by age.

   * from 9 to 13 years old

   * from 14 to 16 years old

   * from 17 to 20 years

(Adult classes are also possible, from age 21 onwards, but you would have to adapt the program)

- Students are not required to have special studies on photography or cinematography. This knowledge will be acquired in the classes of the Film Workshop.

- I have thought that this first program that I present may be MODULE 1 of the Film Workshop. At the end of each module, a diploma will be given to the students. This first module will be the shortest (2 months). If everything goes well and the students want to continue, there will be a MODULE 2 of 6 months duration. And so on progressively.

In my experience giving Cinematography classes I have discovered that there are many students who never get tired and want more classes. I have been teaching Film for 3 and a half years (all different) and I continue planning new classes for the following years.

But this being a first online experience, I think it is better step by step and see if the results encourage to create more Cinema Modules.

Masterclass 8

Character Creation

In this Masterclass we will search the internet for a small scene of our favorite character. We will then write the dialogue of this scene to study it and memorize it. We will also look at how our character acts: gestures, faces, movements ... And finally we will make this scene and we will film it.

Masterclass 9

Imagination Exercise

In this Masterclass we will learn acting through imagination. We will choose an object and then describe it in detail. In the next level of action "travel with the imagination" to tell the viewer what this object reminds us, something that has happened to us for example.
